Queen Rozza’s Blog

I’ve finally done it- I’ve finally created my blog!

After many motivational speeches to young people across London, posting quotes, sharing knowledge and talking about experiences that have helped me flourish via Instagram, I’ve finally decided to create a website as a one-stop-shop for inspiration.

Why now? Well to be honest, I have had encouragement from others to start sharing my views on the world and the experiences (somewhat bizarre experiences) that I encounter. I’m always writing down my thoughts in journals as a way of expressing how I feel and I have learnt that actually, most people respect and feel inspired by what I have to say regarding certain situations.

Now if you know me, truly know me, then you will have an idea on what life changing events that have taken place in my life, which most would deem as horrific and unexplainable. However, this blog will not be sad or dreary. You will get small insights into what I have had to deal with in the past but the focus will always be on what I have learnt and how to move forward.

So who am I? What makes me so special for people to want to even listen to me?

I am Rosie Wainwright. I am 24 years old and my life right now is pretty great. I have a good job, more than one income, a nice car, a degree in Law, I am a mentor, I work hard and reap the rewards, I have my own home, I volunteer, I travel a hell of a lot, I have a handful of good people that I can call friends and life right now is pretty much straight sailing from here.

But this wasn’t always the case. Life wasn’t always like this.

I have been homeless, abused, attempted suicide, been through the care system, battled with depression and lost many people that I thought I couldn’t live without.

But I am here. I am alive. I am living.

This is my journey of self-love. I am not a victim of my circumstances. I am a survivor. I have not been defeated. I am not destroyed. I am not damaged nor am I broken. I have had to deal with things that most people my age haven’t had to deal with and I am grateful for it all. All the good and the bad makes me who I am today and because of this, I will help others. I am not yet a finished product. I do believe that you have to fully love and appreciate yourself in order to grow, and I want to share my journey with you.

So what about this blog then?

My blog has three main pages. The first is ‘Words with a Queen’, which will contain blogs with the aim to inspire and enlighten my readers. This is anything from life lessons to things I have done to help my growth and whether or not I recommend the path that I chose. The Second is ‘Travel’, whereby I will talk about the countries I have been too, how to travel alone (where the hell I get the confidence to do so) and what I have learnt. The third is ‘A book a month’, my 2019 resolution! Any person on a journey of self-improvement will tell you to read read read. I have uncovered a passion for reading self-help books and at the beginning of each month I will publish a video about the book I’ve chosen to read & at the end of the month I will publish a blog post disseminating the bits I found the most important. I’ll talk about whether or not I liked the book and how I will (if I choose to) implement what I have discovered in my day-to-day life.

So there you have it. My first blog post.

So keep an eye out for updates on my page via Instagram @QueenRozza, subscribe & follow. More importantly interact with me, tell me your views and opinions and exchange your own experiences- as a wise person knows there is something to be learnt from everyone.
